Sigh.....

Had an accident in my aunts car tonight... reversed into my other uncle's garage!

I'm not going to bother with explaining how it happened, but the Shogun went back first through the garage and took out pretty much everything within 5ft of the garage door. I was actually halfway out of the car and I banged my head somewhere... another foot more and i would have caught my leg between the car and the brick pillar.

Forced to A&E by my aunt and uncle but I am ok, though a bit shook up. Left side temple and face is hurting and was told that it will hurt more tomorrow....

If this had happened a little over a week ago I would have immediately lit up a cigarette... but I didn't. In a way I am happy to know I do not need to smoke even under such stress and panic. I am just glad that the damage was not as ad as first thought. But I still feel really bad....

I am such a fucking twat sometimes.... just a fucking clumsy twat....

Remember me??

Hmm... 3 entries in 24 hours. I must be bored!

Well this one is quite nice and i feel quite touched. Last last few weeks I have come across some very old faces that I have not seen or talked to in many many years! But they remembered me and it surprised me as I had almost forgotten them. How did they remember? Because I was nice to them, I made sure they got home safely... yes they were girls. But my one of my best mates I met by driving him home from London to Brighton on the first night we met...

Some people say I get used, some people say I'm a fool. But I say i have made some friends who have remembered me from over 10 years ago... I feel that tank of petrol was worth every penny.

Nature…

I have been having some random thoughts about human nature and the way we live. I think it has been sparked off by the articles I read from the BBC News website.

Everyday there is news on protecting wildlife, developing new technology, planning for the future of human existence… Everything that we, as humans do is in no way natural. We attempt to prolong the existence on species when their time is up. We find new means of extending life beyond natural expectancies. We worry about the next generations before they have even been born!

Using knowledge of our known laws of physics, given that every action has an equal and opposite reaction, surely we are only preparing for an early grave for human kind with all the actions we are taking. Maybe that is why there are more natural disasters in the world today? Maybe that’s why there are more ‘terrorists’.

I don’t think anything I have said is new or of any significance, but I just felt like putting my words down….

Still a non-smoker... it's not as difficult as I first thought. I have been in the company of many smokers and was never tempted. The hardest time is when I am alone and there's no one around.... but I am fighting it!
